Remember that L’Oreal Feria commercial? Multifaceted, shimmering color!
Baby, this is me
I wish I could sleep for just one night in the American Wing at the Met. I think I’d settle down in visible storage, somewhere in the neighborhood of Sargent and Chase’s giant portraits, or between rows of drop-leaf tables made of some pretty old wood.
It could be nearly any art institution - being surrounded by art feels like being immersed in a lush, vibrant green forest after a sun shower, inhaling deeply. I feel my best and do my best work when there is an element of creativity - whether it be writing, designing, drawing, making; or ideation, planning, training, researching, restructuring, or developing.
Thriving in the service industry means becoming a bit of a Jack of all trades. You’re learning and moving quickly, switching between tasks, all while honing both hard and soft skills on the floor. My skills are diverse. As diverse as my creative pursuits, as diverse as my interests. If I were a hair color in a box dye commercial, you would call me multifaceted, and it would be true.
I initially made this website to help me get a job. To communicate examples of all the different things I can do, and like to do, and that show up in my work but don’t necessarily show up on my resumé (which you can find here, please admire my highly transferrable skills). It’s a good idea, right?
Whatever reason you’re here, thanks for taking the time to check me out :)
